The Winter CESM Uncertainty Quantification and Analysis Interest Group Meeting

February 20 and 21, 2013 at NCAR mesa lab in boulder, colorado

The UQA group is focused on application of best practices of uncertainty quantification and uncertainty analysis to climate analysis with the CESM, and in facilitating the development of new technologies, methods, and approaches for CESM-UQA. 

This year, the meeting overlaps with the Land Model Working Group, Biogeochemistry Working Group, and Societal Dimensions Working Group joint meetings.

This meeting will be focused on two goals:

1) Identifying core directions and projects for uncertainty quantification in the CESM model.

2) This year, the meeting overlaps with the Land Model Working Group and Biogeochemistry Working Group meetings, and we will share a session focused on UQ on those model components.
